My Track Career ![]() ![]() I competed collegiately at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. As a freshman I quickly proved that I was ready for collegiate competition as I scored 18 individual points for ETSU at the 1996 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships. I won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.70 and finish second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.17. I also ran the lead leg for the Conference Champion 400-meter relay team. At the 1996 Southern Conference Indoor Championships, I placed third in the 55-meter hurdles (8.45) and ran the 400-meter leg on the distance medley relay team that set a new school and Southern Conference record. I was also a member of the 1600-meter relay team that finished second at the meet. I missed most of the 1997 track season and took a medical red shirt in 1998. I returned to the track for the 1999 season earning All-Conference recognition by finishing third in 100-meter hurdles at the 1999 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships. I also was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles at the outdoor championships. ![]() I am a 1995 Graduate of Riverdale High School where I was Clayton County champion and Region 4AAAA champion in the 100-meter hurdles in 1994 and 1995. I was also a member of the County and Region Champion 400-meter relay teams in 1994 and 1995. I was County and Region Runner-up (State Qualifier) in 1993. I held the school record for eight years in 100-meter hurdles (14.63) as well as a member of school record 400-meter relay (48.2) and 1600-meter relay (4:08) teams. I finished sixth at the State Championships in 1994 (15.3) and fourth in 1995 (14.75). I was member of the Georgia High School AAAA runner-up 400-meter relay team that set the school record. ![]() I was a member of the Quicksilver Track Club from 1992-95.
